My writing and designs I’m one of those people who write like they breath. Luckily, I have a habit of getting paid to write: I’ve been an Arts Hubber and a collectZinger, among other things. One of my highlights at Arts Hub was to interview Midnight Oil’s Peter Garrett. I’ve written plays (some of which have actually been performed!), and I’ve been known to dabble in producing my own newsletters. Over the years I’ve worked for a number of other start-up dot coms, thanks to my previous employment at Arts Hub. This has included a short stint administering content for a now-defunct website, Australian Migration Digest; and another short time assisting with marketing for Rushcrowds. Apparently I’m a geek. Having a need to design websites for my own theatre stuff, and having to write snippets of code for my aforementioned jobs, I started to learn how to write in alien languages. Not only do I run two popular sites (the other being School of Puppetry, which you can read more about here), but I used to host a colleague’s website (Op Shop Tours Australia). I also redesigned the UNIMA Australia website, and was their webmaster for a while. I recently redesigned Pockets Full of Fun, which you can read about on my blog. If you’re curious about my puppetry background, you can read about that here. |
