Opening night has come and gone already, with our early timeslot of 4.45pm. Having checked our ticket sales before I left home, I was pleased to see that we had booked in about half our capacity (19/40), but boy was I surprised to see 36/40 capacity when we closed the house!

What was even better is that, despite a few small stuff-ups, we went really well. The audience was laughing - always a good sign - and seemed to really enjoy the puppets.

There was a reviewer tonight (and a camera person), and they said they really enjoyed the show and they’ll be telling people to come see it!!

Unbelievable!

I was really nervous, but happily, everything turned out better than I expected. The cast were happy, and hopefully tomorrow we’ll do even better!
