I hadn’t noticed until today, but Puppets in Melbourne is one year old as of May this year! 

Unbelievable! During that time, I’ve gone solo on making puppets, learnt how to make ‘muppet’-types, created my first three full-bodied ‘muppet’-types, built a Lego city puppet, self-produced single-handedly a new puppet show, left a full-time job, become unemployed, gained new full-time work with the same people I left last year, made new friends… 

A lot has happened in one year, both personally and professionally. What will happen from here? Who knows. 

But I hope we can all share a piece of cake this time next year, and live to see a lot more birthdays of Puppets in Melbourne. Thanks for reading and participating!
