Somewhere in all of this I had to find some Lego. So I went bargain hunting - Ebay was the best - and got myself some Lego.

 I got doubles of everything, knowing I would need to make a second city later on. There is: a mechanic, a jackhammering guy, a beach girl, a doctor (appropriate because of Doc the muppet), a blue guy (and some extra body parts to exchange for the blue body), a red girl, a criminal, a fireman, a cop, and a parachuter (an homage to Tom’s early script, which we had to drop). I wanted to get a mixed representation of the types of people found in a city.

In most cases, they were also the cheapest.
