I said there would be a new post, but I spent much of this afternoon fiddling with some features for the blog. I found a plugin that automatically hyperlinks keywords when I write a post so that it links to another post on the blog. This is going to make it infinitely easier for me to write new FAQ posts and link back to an older one (ie. it means I don’t have to remember the URL for the right blog post, and then manually highlight the words and press the hyperlink button, etc.). For example, I can type … rod puppet …. and without doing anything, the blog automatically finds the right URL to link the words to. It’s a little more complicated than that, but once it is set up, it works really well.

Plus, I’ve been looking at ‘upgrading’ my hit counter, because the old one is in desperate need of going to their premium accounts; but at $US 10 a month I can’t afford it. Google Analytics does ten times more and for free, so I had to fiddle with that too. Plus I’m still playing with the Amazon thing.

Not only that, but this morning I went on a trip to Carlton where I have a room booked for tomorrow’s puppet building day. I treated myself to seeing Sicko and though I enjoyed it, I’m rather exhausted now.

Time for bed.
