22 Sep 2007 Apologies
For the first time ever, this afternoon hits to my site cause my bandwidth to be exceeded. This is both good news and bad news. Good news - people are interested in my site and the things happening around it. Bad news - upgrading means spending more money. So yes, you will see more advertising on this site. Apologies more for that than the lack of access to the site today. Hopefully you won’t be bombarded with too many yucky text ads - I’ve signed up with an ad service that is designed to attract advertisers appropriate to the site, much like Google Adsense. Except it’s better; with Adsense, Google automatically finds ads to put on your site that fits your content. With this advertiser, you have full approval over what ads are shown. Plus I can combine it with Google or Amazon ads.
If you want to support my puppetry efforts, please buy an ad. They are very cheap at $0.10 (US) CPM. Every ad you buy keeps this site going, and goes towards puppet builds (which I can then blog about). If you want to buy an ad, please click on the link at the bottom of the right-hand menu.
Anyway, the long and short of it is - Puppets in Melbourne is still here, and will continue to be here for a while more.
