Sorry about the lack of decent puppetry posts. Tonight’s new year’s, but because of the combination of holidays and lots to do, I’ll be spending most of tonight working on my film commission. Once again, I find myself a week behind in the build process, with two down, and five to make. I’m currently stuck on making a head pattern for an animal character, which requires a quite unusual shape.

I’ve also fallen way behind on the puppet store, with quite a few things to fix before I can get it online. Fortunately, most of it is building and photography, with a little bit of coding thrown in. But because I’m behind on my film commission, and I’m having trouble getting the pattern done, I end up using all my energy doing that; and don’t feel like doing the puppet store at the end of the day.

The new year is bringing some tough choices for me, most of which have to do with a lack of time. I know I need to cull some of my projects, but the more I do that, the more I feel cut off from my artistic tendencies… Anyway, wishing you all a nice relaxing new year; I won’t be relaxed at all.
