Ah, rats. I had a post all set about an online competition for making sock puppets, that opened in Dec, but only just discovered the winner had already been announced.

Oh well…

Instead, I’ll just tell you what’s happening at the moment - I’m about halfway through my third and fourth puppets for my film commission. Last night and on Sunday I worked heavily on the puppet store, with announcement banners loaded, preparations to move the site across to my new domain (I had to work out how to do this, and I now know, so it should be quite easy to do last minute), and have almost finished the backend work on the actual store. I got stuck last night on one thing - figuring out a new coding language is tough! - and once that one thing is done, I can load it all up. Then it’s just a matter of doing tests, and switching from thepromptcopy domain to puppetsinmelbourne.

Once all that’s done, hopefully I can return to the normalcy of actually adding more posts about puppetry, and also return to finishing my icons.

I need to slow down… XX(
