Yes, that’s right, the blog has been moved finally to its own domain name. I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, and I thought it would be best to do it when the store was ready to go. Strictly speaking, there’s still a lot to do in terms of getting prepared for orders: spare parts to be made, marketing designed and distributed, etc. But hopefully by the time people see the store is useable, I’ll have most of that done. In the meantime, enjoy!

What’s new on the site:

• Better navigation, including more internal linking between posts, a sitemap, and easier-to-remember URLs for posts
• Hiding the links blog, which confused people - links can now only be found in the right-hand menu
• Clearer distinction between my builds and the posts in the FAQ
• Updated About me page, with stuff about commissions on puppets
• A lot of small fixes on things nobody’d really notice, but bugged me

And the store of course!!

• Use the flash generator to buy customised mini-muppet types
• Find out more about materials, construction, use and care, shipping and packaging, privacy and return policies, etc.

There’s been quite a lot of work going to the pages, especially the store and sitemap, as I’ve had to customise and hard code a lot of stuff - it means if I change the name of a category for the posts, I have to go back and edit about three different files.

So yeah, lots of stuff happening! Enjoy the store - feel free to leave me comments, etc. or if there’s a problem, let me know asap!
