In this short video, I show you how to make your own shadow puppet joints, using two methods: spiral wire joints, and string joints. The latter is excellent for working with children, whilst the former is used by professionals like Richard Bradshaw.

This ten minute video is also an accompaniment to any of my shadow puppet patterns (free ones here and here), and can be used with your own designs or kits. The video actually uses my tiger shadow puppet pattern (currently unavailable) as an example.
