I’ve been happily watching - rewatching - my Farscape DVDs. I really do love the episodes, and I’m currently in Season 2, which is my favourite season. I’ve just finished the Princess trilogy, and am up to the ‘Beware of Dog’ episode… Anyway, today I got a lovely treat - a Rygel action figure that I’d bought! These action figures are high in demand, and aren’t being made anymore. Rygel is the hardest to find, and can fetch at least $150 US; more if you have to bid for it. I got it for less than half that, which sounds like a lot, but I’ve been waiting for well over a year to find one that’s affordable as well as coming from a reliable seller. The question now is: do I open the near mint package, and render the collectible a little less collectible, or do I leave it closed and disallow myself from playing?… This is why collectors buy two of everything (one to play with, one to keep pristine), but that’s so costly!

In the meantime, I’ve been going through my marketing lists, trying to drum up interest for the muppet building classes. Next week I hope to finally post my book review for Vietnamese water puppets, and have a new product for sale.
