… On a side note, it’s funny what you hear when you’re not paying attention. I often have the TV on in the evening as ‘background’ noise, and a few days ago, my ears suddenly pricked up at an ad - it’s one of Optus’ (phone company for you non-Aussies) new ads. What caught my ears was a very odd thing to pick up on when not actually paying attention to the TV or the sounds themselves. That is, that Lani Tupu seems to be voicing them. If you’re unfamiliar with who he is, he’s the guy on Farscape that plays Bailar Crais, and is the voice of Pilot. … I guess I’ve been watching the series enough lately that I just picked up on his voice by familiarity. I couldn’t find any info on the net whether it actually is him or not, but my guess is that it is.

But I may be hearing him all over the place - now I suspect that he is one of the voiceovers for SBS, one of our TV channels, and that I’m only noticing it now… Strange? Or just too much Farscape?
