Normally I won’t link to stuff like this, purely because everyone else does. But I think this is a good example puppet of the blinking eye mech. Watch the video at the link; you’ll see blinking eyes, but also eyes that rotate right and left. The puppet is by Pasha, of Project Puppet.com fame.
