Read yesterday’s post here.
That heading does make sense. I ended up falling asleep around 5am last night - I was attempting to write all my reviews, but exhaustion got to me and I took forever writing the first. By the time it was 3am though, I just gave up and spent some time relaxing with a book.
Even though the job fair was on today - only two companies were interviewing and they were looking for performers anyway - I decided to take it easy. The plan was to sleep in, and then head out to Atlantic Station where there’s an outdoor market, shops, and cinemas. However, I slept in til 5.30pm. Yep, I slept for about 12 hours.
That’s not particularly unusual for me; despite my thing with insomnia, I can sleep for long amounts of time, just not very well. I woke up and fell asleep quite a number of times, but considering, I slept pretty well.
So now it’s a little late to go anywhere, so I’m just going to finish the reviews from yesterday, have some dinner and relax. I guess the jet lag/exhaustion of the past week’s activities finally caught up with me.
Tomorrow though I have definite plans: in the afternoon is my Segway tour - which was supposed to happen at the start of the week - which gets in the way of a previous, but flexible, activity I had planned. The morning is hence up in the air, I can do what I originally planned, or I can go do the planned afternoon activity instead. It’s a choice between going to the Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Centre, or the Atlanta History Centre. The latter is harder to get to, whilst the former is closer to where I take the Segway from. But I’d kind of rather go to the AHC… so we’ll see.
Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for yesterday’s reviews.
