5 Jan 2010 Bat shadow puppet pattern on sale now!
This is one of those patterns I made for my classes last year with Reach Out. I had a sudden urge to make up a new pattern for sale, and luckily most of the work was already done - the pattern itself, not the instructions. The best part is that the puppet itself is incredibly simple, so it took me about half a day to make an example, do the pics, and add in the instructions.
This pattern is no longer available to buy.
The fun part: the frontcover image I made … ->
Those are actually two different shots of the puppet, one from above, and one from a slight angle to the side. The moon was just a lucky find at a stock photography site.
The annoying part: I’ve just spent an hour trying to load a preview onto Lulu, and every time I hit a wall. Hopefully I can get it to work later.
I have a whole bunch of patterns left to add from those classes, but they won’t come for a while. Between blood noses (it may be the heat), organising stuff for the classes in a few weeks, and other stuff I have planned, the patterns will be going on the backburner for a little bit.
And of course, the obligatory video…
