Normally I don’t highlight puppetry companies outside of Australia - being a mainly Australian-focused blog - but this one is important.
No Strings UK is a large organisation that provides puppetry films and performances in Afghanistan, Indonesia and Sri Lanka for children. Using puppetry and the local languages, they hope to teach young children important things about their world; such as learning about landmines and safety, and HIV/AIDs.
