Puppet Kaos and my post on set design

My recent post on basic set design for puppets caught the attention of Kelvin over at Puppet Kaos, who notes:

"I think the most important thing is to get the scale right, especially matching the size of the set pieces to the puppets so they look like they belong in the same world. I’ve actually been thinking about switching to small puppets because it would be easier for me to build set pieces."

He continues on with some interesting details on, and a link to an article of, the Avenue Q puppets. He mentions that the puppets had specific character designs integrated in terms of personality and colours, as well as the techniques and materials used in making them.
