Most of the time when I made my first set of puppets, it was a particular material that inspired me. This jellyfish was inspired by a pack of translucent papers I discovered at Officeworks. I had seen this patterned paper along with the ones I used for the turtle shadow puppet and immediately knew what I would do with them.
